Maloney Receives Honor for Book
FREDERICK, Maryland (Feb. 23, 2011) -- Certified appraiser and veteran appraisal course writer, author and instructor David J. Maloney, Jr. of Appraisal Course Associates has received the International Society of Appraiser's (ISA) Publication Award for his book, “Appraising Personal Property: Principles & Methodology". "Congratulations for receiving the Publication Award!" said ISA's Executive Director, Joseph Jackson, CAE. Published by Appraisers Press, this now-616-page book is considered the definitive work on personal property appraising—a comprehensive course in the underlying core appraisal fundamentals required of today's professional personal property appraiser including appraisal principles, methodology, practices, theory, ethics, standards and report writing. The Award is presented for the most outstanding written work involving the appraisal profession as a whole. In selecting Maloney's book, consideration was given to the degree the work enhances the appraisal profession including its growth, credibility and image.
